A BFA and a BA in K-12 Art Education with a minor in Art History, were obtained in 1989 from the University of Minnesota at Duluth.
Several years were spent studying at Grand Marais, MN Art Colony working with several exemplary artists. Along with oil painting there were also classes in assemblage art, handmade papers, and screenprinting which inspired me to explore 3D and textured art.
I have taught for many years in public schools and with adults through art-affiliated venues. I am presently working and teaching in my 9th Street Studio in Tucson.
